Many of you may know this whistle from our sister company Best Fox Call, and you will have used it as a fox caller…
Used in a slightly different fashion, this call can simulate the whistle of a Sika Stag.
The technique is to bite hard and blow hard creating a high pitched “whine” and easing off both the bite pressure and blow towards the end of the call.
Longer calls for Muntjac:
Shorter “pfiep” for Roe:
The Hubertus Cherrywood Roe Call is one of the best manual calls available, simple to use and compact to store.
The Buttolo Blatter is the easiest call to master, imitating the calls of a Roe doe with deadly accuracy.
The Blatter is also effective on Muntjac.
